Get a ready-made job

ps_get_ready_job

Read-onlyCore · always onWorks in TellMyShop FreeVisible right after install

Gives Claude the step-by-step plan of one of the 14 ready-made jobs, so you can start a job even in a Claude app without the jobs menu.

TellMyShop Free: Yes. This tool is in TellMyShop Free, which costs nothing. It only reads your store and never changes anything.

Ask Claude

„Let's do the Get ready for Black Friday job for Garden lighting.”

Example answer

Job "Get ready for Black Friday". 1. Check the category: products, stock, current promotions (ps_search_products, ps_manage_catalog_price_rules action=list). 2. Propose discounts and the free delivery threshold. 3. Show every change as a preview and wait for approval. 4. Report what changed and what to clean up afterwards (job "Clean up after a promotion").

Technical details

Returns the scenario of a ready-made job (the same text the menu of ready-made jobs uses): what to check first, the plan, which tools to use, the preview and approval rules and the closing report. For chat apps that have no prompt menu, such as ChatGPT. Without job it lists the jobs available in this shop; args passes the job arguments. Jobs come in six groups: Free (shop review, morning check-in, why a product doesn't sell, sales overview, first conversation), Content, Commerce, Theme, Modules and Service. Free has only the Free group; Pro has all of them, and when the switch of a job's area is off, the scenario reads, plans and tells the owner which switch to turn on. With consultant (without job) it returns the TellMyShop Consultant's knowledge on a topic (approach, seo, ai_search, product_page, copy, pricing, categories, design, commerce, developer, ads); Claude also fetches it on its own for bug reports (developer), appearance questions (design), delivery and stock (commerce) and ads (ads). Jobs are shown in the Ready-made jobs card of the module panel.

Always available, in Free and Pro (Free: the Free group only; a Pro job called by name returns one neutral sentence).
