ps_clear_cache
Clears the cache so recent changes show up on the site.
TellMyShop Free: No. This tool is only in TellMyShop Pro. TellMyShop Free has only ready reports that read your store.
Ask Claude
„I don't see the new banner on the home page. Clear the cache.”
Example preview
Scope: smarty. Will delete compiled templates, Smarty cache and CCC files. The next page loads will be slower while the cache rebuilds.
Technical details
Clears PrestaShop cache. scope=smarty: compiled templates, Smarty cache and combined CSS/JS files (CCC), enough after theme changes. scope=all: also the Symfony cache (like the "Clear cache" button in Performance). Use it after theme file changes or when changes don't show on the page. The first page loads after clearing are slower. Needs the Theme switch.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| scope | enum: smarty | all | no | Scope (default smarty). |
| confirm | boolean | no | false (default) returns a preview and saves nothing. true executes, only after the user approved the preview, together with change_token. |
| change_token | string | when: confirm=true | Token from the preview. Required with confirm=true. Valid 30 minutes, single use, bound to the previewed arguments and data state. |
Limits
Not recorded in the change history; nothing to undo, the cache rebuilds itself. First page loads after clearing are slower.
What you see before anything is saved
Claude first calls the tool without confirming it. The module returns a preview (current and new values) and a single-use token valid for 30 minutes. Claude shows you the preview and saves the change only after your yes.
