Two packages: TellMyShop and TellMyShop Audit

Without a licence key, the paid package works exactly like Audit: read only. The free Audit package needs no key and no account.

Moving from Audit to paid: buy a licence, upload the paid ZIP in Module Manager over the free module, paste your key in the Licence card. It's the same module, so your settings, history and the connector in Claude stay.

What happens after 12 months

The module keeps working on the last version you downloaded. You just don't get new versions or email support until you renew.

If the licence is missing or not valid

Your shop and back office keep working normally. Claude can still read and report. It just can't save changes: the module switches to read-only mode, and Claude tells you why.

The module checks the licence about once a day in the background. If the licence server can't be reached (for example your host blocks outgoing connections), the module keeps working normally for 14 days and shows a warning in the back office. A licence that was refunded or revoked stops write access at the next check.

Domains

Which address counts

The address of your live shop, for example myshop.com. www.myshop.com and myshop.com count as one. The module takes it from your shop's settings; you don't type it.

Test copies are free

These don't use a live-shop slot:

RuleExamples
Your own computerlocalhost, 127.0.0.1
Private networks10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x, 172.16-31.x.x
Test names*.local, *.localhost, *.test, *.example, *.invalid
Test subdomains of your shopdev., staging., stage., test., demo., preprod., beta. (for example staging.myshop.com)
Your own extra test addressesUp to 3, added in your account

*.dev addresses are not free: real shops use that ending.

Claude.ai connects over the internet, so a test copy must be reachable online to work with Claude.ai.

Moving a licence to another shop

  1. In your account open Licences and click Release next to the old domain.
  2. Install the module on the new shop and activate the same key.

You can do this yourself once a year per domain. After that, write to [email protected]. Uninstalling the module does not release the domain. Release it in your account, or click Release domain in the module's Licence card before you uninstall.

Agencies and freelancers can reuse domains: release one when a client leaves, assign it to the next client.

Several shops in one PrestaShop (multistore)

One installation counts as one licence; the module sends the domains of all shops in the installation. Multistore itself is not verified yet, so we don't promise it.

Invoices and VAT

Payment by card through Stripe. EU consumers pay their country's VAT; EU businesses with a valid VAT ID get a reverse-charge invoice. Invoices are in your account and inbox.

Technical details

  • Licence server: https://tellmyshop.pl/api/v1 (one constant, to change when .com goes live). Calls: POST /activations (activate), POST /activations/refresh, POST /activations/release. The client is src/License/LicenseClient.php (API_BASE).
  • The licence gate is enforced: src/Endpoint.php uses Settings::groupsFor($connector, $this->licensed). Without an active licence the paid package works like Audit: blocks 2–5 hidden, read-only forced, service token refused.
  • States: full (valid token, writes allowed), audit (no token, expired token, wrong domain or Audit edition: read-only, blocks 2–5 hidden), none. No licence never switches the shop or the connector off.
  • Token: Ed25519-signed, bound to domain and instance ID, valid 14 days = offline grace. Refresh once a day in the background; failed refresh retried at most hourly; warning after 2 days without a successful refresh. Errors license_revoked, license_suspended, activation_released, instance_mismatch, not_entitled, invalid_token drop the token at once.
  • Data sent at activation and refresh: licence key, normalised domain(s) (lowercase, no www., no port or path, IDN to punycode; all shop domains in multistore, default shop first), random instance ID, module / PrestaShop / PHP versions. No usage counters and no store content.
  • Free Audit package: built from the same code with write tools, blocks 2–5, the service connector and the rescue script left out; same technical name tellmyshop, so the paid package installs over it as an update.
  • ps_get_shop_info and the server instructions report the licence state, so Claude can explain why writes are unavailable and what a licence unlocks.
