Your first shop review

In TellMyShop Free Claude reads your shop and prepares a plan of fixes. It changes nothing. It's a good first step with the Pro version too.

How to start it

There are two ways:

  • From the menu: in a chat with Claude open the TellMyShop menu and choose Check my store and plan the fixes.
  • In your own words: start a new chat and write:

Review my shop and tell me what to fix first.

Claude checks what it needs on its own: your shop's technical health, the text Google sees, missing descriptions and photos, pages that don't exist, and what sells best. It usually takes a few minutes.

How to read the report

The report has three parts:

PartWhat's in itWhat to do
Shop healthWhether the shop is working properly: HTTPS, maintenance mode, errors from the last few daysIf there's a ❌, start there. It's usually one for your host or developer
Fix-it planA list, most important first: e.g. 23 products without a description, 40 Google titles too long, 12 "not found" pagesStart with the top three. Claude orders them by impact on sales
Where to start2–3 concrete steps for this week, starting with products that sellAsk Claude for details on one step, e.g. "show me those 23 products"

You can ask as many follow-up questions as you like. For example:

Which of these products sell best? Why isn't the "Terra solar lamp" showing up in the Garden category?

A second free job

TellMyShop Free also fully runs the Why can't customers see this product? job. Give the product's name, number or address and Claude checks over a dozen possible causes and points to the most likely one.

Other ready-made jobs

You'll find the ready-made jobs in Claude, in the + → TellMyShop menu, and in the module, in the collapsed Ready-made jobs section below the Start card. Open it to see a sample sentence for each job, ready to copy. Each job is a tested recipe: Claude reads your shop first, then shows a plan and a preview, and only changes things after your "yes".

The jobs come in six groups:

  • Free: First conversation, Check my store and plan the fixes, Morning check-in, Why can't customers see this product?, What sells and what doesn't.
  • Content and SEO, Catalog: Product texts and SEO in batches, Categories that sell, Fix broken links, Translate my store, New products from a list. They work as soon as you enter your licence.
  • Sales: Set up a promotion, Get ready for Black Friday, Clean up after a promotion, Change prices in batches, Discount code. They work once the Sales switch is on.
  • Theme: Colours and fonts, Announcement bar, A product page that sells, How it looks on a phone, Home page. They work once the Theme switch is on.
  • Modules: Update a module, Tidy up modules, Module settings, Something stopped working, New module from a package. They work once the Modules switch is on.
  • Service: Error on the site, Replace text across the store, Google verification, Old addresses after a move, Maintenance mode. They work once the Service switch is on.

The Free version runs the jobs labelled Free. The rest are labelled Pro and need a licence. If you ask for one of them in the Free version, Claude tells you it's in the Pro version. Not on the list? Just write what you need in your own words.

What next

At the end of the report Claude tells you which fixes it can make straight away with a licence. You'll see each one before it's saved, and you can undo every one. It's worth repeating the review once a month.
